Weird Art School Project #1

Art School, Experimental Typography

What would art school be like without a few weird projects

This is a school project that required us to use type in an unexpected way. I have been wanted to experiment with light and thought this would be a perfect project. I found some inspirational photographs using reflective tape as art. After a few failed attempts, I decided that I would use foam core board with adhesive reflective tape. It glowed incredibly bright (bottom pics- no photo editing). I photographed them with a varied amount of light from different directions. Then put them together (about 50 individual photos) in a frame animation with a bit of photoshop at the end.
